Velo De Novia (telenovela)
''Velo de novia'' (English: ''The Bride's Veil'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Juan Osorio for Televisa in 2003. It aired on Canal de las Estrellas from June 30, 2003 to January 2, 2004. The telenovela stars Susana González, Eduardo Santamarina, Héctor Suárez, Cynthia Klitbo, Blanca Guerra and Carmen Salinas. The 1st part is based on 1969 Brazilian telenovela ''Véu de Noiva'' and its an adaptation of the 1971 mexican telenovela of the same name . Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Emilio "El Indio" Fernández Romo (; 26 March 1904 – 6 October 1986) was a Mexican film director, actor and screenwriter. He was one of the most prolific film directors of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema in the 1940s and 1950s.
