Velmej Field
Velmej ( mk, Велмеј) is a village in the Municipalities of North Macedonia, municipality of Debarca Municipality, Debarca, North Macedonia. It used to be part of the former municipality of Belčišta. Location Velmej is located at Dolna Debarca region, 13 km. east from the Ohrid-Kicevo high road. On the western slopes of mountain Ilinska Bigla, from the north and the east side, the village is surrounded with the mountain massifs of Ilinska Bigla, (to the east is Kilaec peakat 1068 m, to the north is Čuki at 1303 m) and in the west and south sides is the Velmej field. The village's altitude is 860 m. The area of the village Velmej takes 39.3 km2 or 10% of the territory of Debarca. The closest airport to Velmej is OHD-Ohrid, located 18.7 km southwest of Velmej. Slatino (Debarca)
Slatino () is a village in the municipality of Debarca, North Macedonia. It used to be part of the former municipality of Belčišta. Geography and Location There are three villages named Slatino in North Macedonia, one in Tetovo, one in Brodsky, and one in Debarca. Slantino village is located in Debarca, on the eastern slopes of Ilinska Mountain. , which got its name from the village, sits to the south, supplying the Slatina River. Slatino is considered a hilly region. Slatino Village History The oldest written record of the villagers is the "Verbose census defter the Sandzak of Ohrid" written in 1582, which tallied the population of Slatino at 327 residents, all Christians. Kuratica ( mk, Куратица) or slang Kurajca ( mk, Курајца) is a village in the municipality of Ohrid, North Macedonia. It used to be part of the former municipality of Kosel. Name The placename ''Kuratica'' is possibly an Aromanian toponym derived from the word ''curát'' meaning clear, fast, clean alongside the suffix ''ica''.
