Vellarikka Pattanam
''Vellarikka Pattanam'' is a 1985 Indian Malayalam film, directed and produced by Thomas Berly. The film stars Prem Nazir, Sukumari, Jagathy Sreekumar and Manavalan Joseph in the lead roles. It is the last film where Prem Nazir appears as a hero. The film has musical score by Thomas Berly. Plot The night of the funeral of their father, Kuriakose, brothers Alex and Stephen are attacked by goons at their home. They escape via different routes - Alex impersonates a drunk political leader while Stephen hides out in a nunnery. The mystery deepens when Stephen finds another man, Thomas Kuruvilla, who bears a striking resemblance to their father and died under similar circumstances only a day earlier. Thomas Burleigh Kurishingal is an Indian actor, director, producer, script writer, music composer in Malayalam cinema, and author of in English. Biography He was born to Kurishingal K. J. Berly (also spelt Burleigh) a freedom fighter and Annie Burleigh (a woman activist and leader of the pre-independence era who led a satyagraha against toddy shops in fort Cochin), on 1 September 1932 at Fort Kochi, Kerala. Prathapachandran
Prathapachandran (1941–2004) was an Indian actor, who worked predominantly in Malayalam film, Malayalam film industry, though he acted in a few Tamil and Telugu movies as well. He known for the portrayal of villainous and character roles in over 300 movies. He was born in 1941 at Omallur in Travancore, Thiruvithamkoor princely state, currently within the Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. Lathika ( ml, ലതിക) is an Indian playback singer whose voice held sway over the music charts in the late 1980s-early 1990s in the Malayalam film industry. She has lent her voice mainly for Malayalam and Tamil film songs for over 300 films.
