Menaka (actress)
Padmavathy Iyengar, better known by her stage name, Menaka (born 27 August 1963), is an Indian actress and film producer. She made her debut in the 1979 Tamil film ''Ramayi Vayasukku Vanthutta''. In an acting career spanning from 1980 to 1987, Menaka appeared in over 125 films as a heroine, mostly in Malayalam. She also appeared in few Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. She married film producer G. Suresh Kumar. After 19 years, she made a comeback through the television serial ''Kaliveedu''. At 8th SIIMA, she received SIIMA Lifetime Achievement Award. Raveendran Nair, known by his stage name Poojappura Ravi is an Indian actor, primarily concentrating in Malayalam films doing comedy roles. Bobby Kottarakkara
Bobby Kottarakkara (11 March 1952 – 3 December 2000) was an Indian actor who acted in Malayalam films. He was born to Pareedkunju Ravuthar in Kottarakkara. He began his acting career on stage. He made his film debut with Mucheettukalikkaarante Makal. Bobby soon became a well-known actor. He performed in around 300 roles in a variety of films, some of which are such as Mazhavilkavadi, ''Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu'', ''Golanthara Vartha'', ''Kaazhchakkappuram'' and ''Chithram''. He also acted in several TV serials. It was during the filming of ''Vakkalathu Narayanankutty'' that Bobby died of a massive heart attack in December 2000. Alummoodan (15 March 1933 3 May 1992) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam films. He had acted in more than 100 films and mainly did comedy roles. Background Alummoodan was born to Alummoottil Joseph and Rosamma in Changanacherry. He was married to Rosamma Dominic. They have six children, 2 sons and 4 daughters. His son Boban Alummoodan is also an actor in Malayalam movies. Adoor Bhavani (1927 – 25 October 2009) was an Indian actress in Malayalam cinema, best known for her appearance in the National Award-winning film ''Chemmeen'' (1965), directed by Ramu Kariat. She had acted in about 450 films, including ''Mudiyanaya Puthran'', ''Thulabharam'', Kallichellamma, and ''Anubhavangal Paalichakal''. Her last film was K. Madhu-directed ''Sethurama Iyer CBI''. She was also a stage actress and was associated with popular theatre group KPAC. Bhavani was born in Adoor in Travancore. Her sister, Adoor Pankajam, was also a Malayalam film actress.
