The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources (DIER) was the department of the Government of Tasmania responsible for management of the state's infrastructure. It reported to several ministers including Jim Cox and Michael Aird. In 2014, it merged with the former Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts to form the new Department of State Growth. The Department was divided into divisions including a Corporate Services Division and the Office of the Secretary. Thylacine
The thylacine ( , or , also ) (''Thylacinus cynocephalus'') is an extinct carnivorous marsupial that was native to the Australian mainland and the islands of Tasmania and New Guinea. The Convention on the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources, also known as the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources, and CCAMLR, is part of the Antarctic Treaty System. St Edward's Crown is the centrepiece of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. Named after Saint Edward the Confessor, versions of it have traditionally been used to crown English and British monarchs at their coronations since the 13th century. The original crown was a holy relic kept at Westminster Abbey, Edward's burial place, until the regalia were either sold or melted down when Parliament abolished the monarchy in 1649, during the English Civil War.
