Vegard Bjerkreim Nilsen (born 2 September 1993) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. He made his World Cup debut in January 2014 in the Nove Mesto sprint, also collecting his first World Cup points with a 19th place. He improved with every World Cup outing, first a 16th place in March 2014 in Drammen, then a 12th place in January 2015 in Otepää, then an 8th place in February 2015 in Östersund. However, he never broke the top 30 again. He represents the sports club Lillehammer SK. Vegard Ulvang
Vegard Ulvang (born 10 October 1963, in Kirkenes) is a Norwegian cross-country skier who won three Olympic gold medals, two silver, and one bronze. He has retired from international and Olympic competition. At the opening ceremony of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, he took the ceremonial Olympic Oath on part of all the athletes. In addition to his Olympic achievements, he received the Holmenkollen medal in 1991 (shared with Trond Einar Elden, Ernst Vettori, and Jens Weißflog), and won the World Cup in 1990. He has also won nine gold, six silver, and two bronze medals in the Norwegian Championships. He earned nine World Cup race victories. Vegard Sletten (8 May 1907 – 17 December 1984) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He worked in ''Stavanger Aftenblad'' from 1929 to 1945, except for the World War II years during parts of which he was imprisoned, and then in ''Verdens Gang'' from 1945. He edited the latter newspaper from 1967 to 1977, and chaired both the Norwegian Union of Journalists and the Norwegian Press Association. Like his father Klaus Sletten he was also a Nynorsk supporter. Early and personal life Sletten was born in Kristiania as a son of newspaper editor Klaus Daae Sletten (1877–1946) and Margit Bruun (1875–1958). Vegard Skogheim (born 28 April 1966) is a Norwegian football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. During his active career, he played for HamKam, Werder Bremen and Viking. He had a total of 197 matches and 36 goals in the Norwegian Premier League. Skogheim played 13 matches for the Norway national football team and scored a goal. As a coach, he has been in charge of Lillehammer and Brumunddal, and has been managing Kongsvinger with success, securing promotion from Second Division in 2003, and almost repeating the feat in First Division in 2004.
