Arjan Michiel Sander Veenstra (Almelo, 6 March 1976) is a Dutch radio DJ on KINK. He presents the program Michiel every Monday to Friday, between 9.00 and 12.00 Career He started with his own show at ''Regio FM'', the local radio station of Wierden. He presented the Saturday night show ''Lucky Night'' as well as a daily morning show ''Wierden wordt wakker'' (Wierden wakes up). Via another local station, HotFM, he moved to work for nationwide broadcaster Radio 538 in 1997, where he worked as a producer with DJs Rick van Velthuysen, Erik de Zwart, Wessel van Diepen en Jeroen Nieuwenhuize. Rogier Veenstra (born 17 September 1987) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a forward or left winger. He manages ASWH. Career Player Born in Middelburg, Veenstra began his career at amateur side DVV Duiven. He later joined RCS Middelburg where he was scouted by top flight club NAC Breda. Veenstra played there five years in the youth. He made his debut in professional football, being part of the NAC Breda squad in the 2006–07 season. Johan Veenstra (born 6 January 1946) is an author, poet, columnist and former radio host from the Dutch province Friesland known for his work in his mother tongue Stellingwervian Low German, for which he was invested as a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau. Personal life Veenstra was born on 6 January 1946 in the maternity hospital of Wolvega, Weststellingwerf in the Saxon part of Friesland, as sole child of an unmarried mother. He grew up in Nijeholtpade in the same municipality, where he still lives. Veenstra only discovered the identity of his father, as well as the existence of his half-brother, after his mother's death—a subject that features in some of his poetry, such as the poem ''Breur'', and in his autobiographical novel ''Een brogge van glas'', in which he also writes about his homosexuality. Johanna Veenstra
Johanna Veenstra (1894–1933) was the first missionary of the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) to go to Nigeria. Biography She was born on Thursday, April 19, 1894, on Hopper Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Her parents were William Veenstra, later a Christian Reformed pastor, and Cornelia Anna De Hoop. In 1915 she was challenged by Karl Kumm of the Sudan United Mission (SUM) to be a missionary in Africa. On October 2, 1919, she left New York City on the ''Mauretania'' for England. On December 31, 1919, she took another ship to Africa, arriving in Lagos in January 1920. In February 1921, she arrived at her station in Lupwe, which is near Takum, now in Taraba State. Two years later, Veenstra assumed leadership of the work in Lupwe. She was engaged primarily in medical work and in preaching.
