''Vedan'' () is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language crime action film directed by Suresh Krissna. The film stars R. Sarathkumar and Khushbu, with Charan Raj, Sarath Babu, Easwari Rao and Radha Ravi in supporting roles. The film, produced by Selvi Thyagarajan and G. Saravanan, had musical score by Deva and was released on 6 May 1993. The film follows Inspector Vijay as he joins the gang of a notorious criminal, Bhoopathi, under the identity of Ranjith with the sole intention of infiltrating it & also falls in love with Ganesh's sister Usha and later witness the brutal slaughter of his superior officer Ganesh who gave him the task. How Vijay completes the mission even though Bhoopathi has begun to suspect his identity forms the crux of the story. Shihan Hussaini
Shihan Hussaini is an Indian karate expert, who has also worked as an actor in Tamil language films. His brother Ishaq Hussaini has also appeared in Tamil films. Suresh Krissna (born 25 June 1959) is an Indian film director who has directed Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi Language films. His first independent film as a director was '' Sathya'' (1988), with Kamal Haasan. He is well known for having directed Rajinikanth in four films which include, '' Annamalai'' (1992), '' Veera'' (1994), ''Baashha'' (1995) and '' Baba'' (2002). Ponnambalam (born 11 November 1963) is an Indian actor and stuntman who has predominantly appeared in Tamil language films. He is best known for playing antagonistic roles in Indian films during the 1990s, notably appearing in films such as ''Nattamai'' (1994), '' Muthu'' (1995) and ''Amarkalam'' (1999).
