Eligio Vecchi
Eligio Vecchi (16 February 1910 – 8 November 1968) was an Italian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Vecchi began his career at local club Mantova in 1927, before joining Foggia two seasons later in the Serie B. Following a few seasons with Cremonese, Vecchi played two friendlies for Milan in May 1934, against Admira Wien and Manchester City. He joined Ambrosiana-Inter, Milan's rivals, in the Serie A, scoring four goals in 29 games in his two seasons at the club. He was sold to Alessandria in 1936 where, despite being relegated to the Serie B, Vecchi remained at the club. Alessandria failed to gain promotion, and Vecchi moved to Fiorentina in 1938, who had just been relegated from the Serie A. Vecchi then played for Atalanta, Mantova, and Cavese, before being forced to fight in the ongoing World War II. He returned to play for Mantova ahead of the 1946–47 season, where he retired. Juan Edmundo Vecchi
Juan Edmundo Vecchi (June 23, 1931 – January 23, 2002) was a Catholic Roman Priest of the Salesians of Don Bosco, who was the 8th Rector Major of that order between March 20, 1996, until his death in 2002. He was the first non-Italian successor of Don Bosco and the first Argentinian to get such position. He was also the nephew of St Artémides Zatti. Life He was born in Viedma, Rio Negro, Argentina, into a migrant family of the northern Italian Emilia-Romagna region in 1931. His parents were Albino Vecchi and Maria Monti, both born in Italy, migrated to Argentina at the end of the 19th century where they married. Juan Edmundo was the 7th and last child of Vecchi. He did his first studies at the Don Bosco Institute of Viedma where he decided to follow the religious life with the Salesians. Stefano Vecchi (born 20 July 1971) is an Italian retired professional footballer turned coach, who is currently in charge of Feralpisalò. Playing career An Inter youth product, Vecchi had an unremarkable career as a central midfielder in the lower leagues of Italian football, not going any further than Serie C1 and narrowly missing an historical promotion to Serie B during his stint at Fiorenzuola. Orazio Vecchi
Orazio Vecchi (6 December 1550 (baptized) in Modena – 19 February 1605) was an Italian composer of the late Renaissance. He is most famous for his madrigal comedies, particularly ''L'Amfiparnaso''. Life He was born in Modena, and studied with Salvatore Essenga, a Servite monk there. In addition he prepared for holy orders with early education at the Benedictine monastery, and took holy orders sometime before 1577. By the end of the 1570s he was well-connected with the composers of the Venetian school (for example Claudio Merulo and Giovanni Gabrieli) since he collaborated with them in writing a sestina for a ducal marriage. Villiam Vecchi (28 December 1948 – 3 August 2022) was an Italian footballer who played as a goalkeeper and later worked as a goalkeeping coach. Club career Born in Scandiano, Reggio Emilia, Vecchi played with AC Milan from 1967 to 1974, and joined Como in 1976.
