Vašo Patejdl
Vašo Patejdl (born Václav Patejdl; 10 October 1954 – 19 August 2023) was a Slovak musician and composer. He was best known for being a co-founder and long-term member of the pop-rock band Elán (band), Elán. He wrote songs for other musicians, including the Richard Müller (singer), Richard Müller single "Po schodoch", and he composed music for films, such as ''Fontána pre Zuzanu'' (1985) and ''The Seven Ravens (2015 film), The Seven Ravens'' (2015). Patejdl also released a number of solo albums throughout his career, both in Slovak and English. He died on 19 August 2023, at the age of 68. Early life and education Václav Patejdl was born in Karlovy Vary to a Czech father and Slovak mother. When he was a child, his family moved to Bratislava. Karlovy Vary
Karlovy Vary (; , formerly also spelled ''Carlsbad'' in English) is a spa town, spa city in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 49,000 inhabitants. It is located at the confluence of the Ohře and Teplá (river), Teplá rivers. Banket (band)
Banket was a Slovak pop band active between 1984 and 1991. Its lead singer was Richard Müller. Banket were among the pioneers of electronic pop music in Slovakia and Czechoslovakia in the 1980s. In this regard, they can be considered Slovakia's answer to Depeche Mode.SeRichard Müller's interview for the leading Slovak daily newspaper SME(29 Dec 2007), in which Müller recalls a mid-1980s concert in Eastern Slovakia and that “the concert hall was packed with Depeche Mode fans”. Ján Lehotský
Ján, also credited as Janko Lehotský (born 16 April 1947) is a Slovak composer and former leader of the Modus band. Lehotský began his performing career when he was four years old, when he performed in a marionette theater. He was a freelance composer during the Velvet Revolution. In 1974 he began managing the band Modus, in which performed also Marika Gombitová and Miroslav Žbirka. He created about 20 records in his career. Pavol Habera
Pavol Habera (born Pavel Habera in 12 April 1962), better known as Paľo Habera, is a Slovak singer, musician, composer, and musical actor. He gained popularity in the 1980s as the leader of the rock band TEAM and has since been known through his successful solo career, and most recently as a judge on the television shows '' SuperStar Search Slovakia'' and '' SuperStar'', based on the British music competition television series '' Pop Idol''. Peter Nagy is a Slovak musician, singer, composer, songwriter, music producer and a photographer. He is one of the most successful singers of the Slovak pop music in the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s.
