Circo Hermanos Vazquez is a Mexican circus established in 1969. The modern circus is American. History The Circus Hermanos Vazquez started in the year 1969, during a period of cultural and social change in Mexico. Run by the brothers Jose Guillermo and Rafael Vazquez, the circus opened for the first time in Mexico City. Other participants were Aurora Vázquez and Antonia De Vazquez y José G. Vázquez. The modern Circo Hermanos Vazquez is established in the United States, and is directed by Guillermo Jr, Jose, Jesus, Ramon, and Aldo Vazquez. Rafael Vázquez
Rafael Vázquez (26 March 1929 – 22 July 2022) was a Mexican singer, songwriter, and actor. Born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, he studied voice with singing teacher Carlos Abreu before achieving success as a singer at Mexico City radio station XEW in 1950. In 1959, he married Mexican singer and actress Carmela Rey, with whom he formed the successful duet Carmela y Rafael, known as "Mexico's Romantic Couple"; together they made 121 records and won numerous awards. He made his acting debut in the film ''Ruletero a toda marcha'' (1962), with Eulalio González, María Duval, and Norma Angélica Ladrón de Guevara. Vázquez died on 22 July 2022, at the age of 93. Donna, TX
Donna is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States. The population was 16,797 at the 2020 census. History Donna is in southeastern Hidalgo County, east of McAllen, in territory that was granted to Lino Cabazos as part of the La Blanca land grant on May 19, 1834, by the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The Cabazos family inhabited the area for at least twenty years after taking possession of the land, and their descendants continued to live in the area into the twentieth century. The first known Anglo-American settler was John F. Webber, who, accompanied by his wife Sylvia (Hector), a former slave, settled in the area in 1839. The Webbers moved to the area in order to escape persecution for their interracial marriage. Several families from northern states, including the Ruthven, Champion, and Hooks families, settled the area.
