Vavá
Edvaldo Izidio Neto (12 November 1934 – 19 January 2002), commonly known as Vavá, was a Brazilian footballer who is widely considered one of the best strikers of his generation. His nickname was "Peito de Aço" (Steel Chest). He played as a main striker (or centre forward) for Sport Club do Recife, C.R. Vasco da Gama, S.E. Palmeiras and the Brazil national football team. International career Vava earned 20 caps with the Brazil national football team between 1955 and 1964, scoring a total of 15 goals. He was in the side that won both the 1958 and 1962 World Cup, in which he scored 5 and 4 goals, respectively. Furthermore, he was a joint recipient of the 1962 World Cup Golden Shoe award, as one of the tournaments top scorers. He was also part of Brazil's squad for the 1952 Summer Olympics. Vavá II
Luciano Sánchez García (28 May 1944), known as Vavá II, is a retired Spanish footballer who played as a forward. Club career As a youngster, Luciano gave himself the nickname Vavá II, due to his admiration for the Brazilian striker, he began his career with his hometown team, CD Béjar Industrial. In 1963 he signed for Elche CF, although the first season he played for the reserve team, Deportivo Ilicitano, in Segunda División. He made his debut on Primera División on 18 October 1964, in a match against UD Las Palmas in which he scored a goal. In 1965, he played a friendly match for FC Barcelona. The following year, the 1965/66 season, he was the top scorer in the Spanish League, with nineteen goals, making him the only player in the history of Elche CF to have won the Pichichi Trophy. Vava Suresh (born 1974) is an Indian wildlife conservationist and a snake expert. He is known for his mission of saving snakes that have strayed into human-inhabited areas in Kerala, India. He has captured 200 (as of November 2020) King cobras, and is believed to have captured and rescued more than 38,000 straying snakes. He hosts a snake capturing programme called "Snake Master" on Kaumudy TV. Throughout his work, he has survived many venomous snakebites, some of which caused him to be hospitalized, and placed on a ventilator or treated in the ICU. Mao Yanqi (; born 29 October 1995), professionally known as Vava, is a Chinese rapper from Ya'an, Sichuan, China. Her English stage name Vava is a synonym for "doll" in Chinese (), chosen as she had a "baby face" when she was little.
