Vasishta N. Simha
Vasishta Niranjan Simha is an Indian actor and playback singer who primarily appears in Kannada films. He is known for playing villain roles, including the role of Kamal in K.G.F. Career In 2011, Vasishta quit his job as a software engineer and decided to enter the Kannada film industry as an actor. He initially worked on an unreleased film titled ''Hubballi Hudagaru'', before having his first release with ''Arya's Love'' (2013). He subsequently made a breakthrough with his role as the main antagonist in ''Raja Huli'' (2013), a remake of the Tamil film, ''Sundarapandian'' (2012). He later also appeared in '' Rudra Tandava'' (2014), a remake of the Tamil film ''Pandiya Naadu'' (2013). Vasishta then appeared in JKS's bilingual film, '' Alone'', in a leading role alongside Nikesha Patel. Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. The 1934 film ''Sati Sulochana'' directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film in the Kannada language. It was also the first film starring Subbaiah Naidu and Tripuramba, and was the first motion picture screened in the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom.
