Vasile Ianul
Vasile Ianul (1 November 1945 – 20 March 2013) was a Romanian footballer who played as a defender. He died on 20 March 2013. Career Vasile Ianul played as a defender for Politehnica Iași from 1966 until 1974, a period in which he helped the club win two promotions in the first league. After he ended his playing career, Ianul worked as a lawyer and in 1975 he became a football referee, managing to arbitrate matches in the Romanian top-division Divizia A. From 1981 until 1985 he was Politehnica Iași's president a period in which the club managed to win a promotion to the first league in the 1981–82 season, also being the club's coach for a short period in 1983. In 1985 he became the head of Dinamo București's football section, in 1991 he was named the club's vice-president and from 1992 until 1994, Ianul was president. Năsăud
Năsăud (; german: Nassod, ''Nußdorf''; hu, Naszód) is a town in Bistrița-Năsăud County in Romania located in the historical region of Transylvania. The town administers two villages, Liviu Rebreanu (until 1958 ''Prislop''; ''Priszlop'') and Lușca (''Szamospart''). At the 2011 census, 93.6% of inhabitants were Romanians, 5.5% Roma, and 0.6% Hungarians. Geography The town lies on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the right bank of the Someșul Mare River. The 1967–68 Divizia B was the 28th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to two series, each of them having 14 teams. At the end of the season the winners of the series promoted to Liga I, Divizia A. Due to expansion of Divizia A and Divizia B from 14 to 16 teams, also the second places from the series played a promotion play-off, at the end of which the second place from the second series also promoted to Divizia A and last two places from both series played a relegation play-off against second places from Divizia C, at the end of which only one team relegated. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. The teams placed from 7th to 12th will play a relegation play-off, where the last two teams are relegated to Liga III.
