Vasif Ahsen-Böre
Vasif Ahsen-Böre (Tatar language, Tatar: Васыйф Әхсән Бүре; ''Wasıyf Äxsän Büre''; 1 January 1924 – 2008) was a Finnish ice hockey player. He began his career with Tappara, TBK Tampere in 1942, and remained with the team until 1945. His brothers Feyzi Ahsen-Böre, Feyzi, Murat Ahsen-Böre, Murat, and Zeyd Ahsen-Böre, Zeyd were also hockey players. Their father was the Tatar businessman Zinnetullah Ahsen Böre. Zeyd Ahsen-Böre (also ''Zeud'' - Tatar: Зәет Әхсән Бүре, ''Zäyet Äxsän Büre''; 9 December 1920 – 28 August 1984) was a Finnish ice hockey player. He began his career with TBK Tampere in 1942, and remained with the team until 1946. His brothers, Feyzi, Murat, and Vasif were also hockey players. Their father was the Tatar businessman Zinnetullah Ahsen Böre. Tappara (; Finnish for "Battle axe") is a Finnish professional ice hockey team playing in the Liiga. They play at ''Tampere Deck Arena'' in Tampere, Finland. The team has won 18 Finnish league championships (1959, 1961, 1964, 1975, 1977, 1979, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 2003, 2016, 2017, 2022). Zinnetullah Ahsen Böre
Zinnetullah Ahsen Böre (Tatar language, Tatar: Зиннәтулла Әхсән Бүре ''-'' né ''Imadutdinoff,'' Имадутдинов; March 20, 1886 - November 11, 1945) was a publisher, businessman, and imam among the Finnish Tatars, Tatar community in Finland. Ahsen Böre is known as the publisher of the first Finnish translation of Quran, the Quran. He had his own successful shop in Tampere, which sold fabrics and furs. Ahsen Böre was a tenacious spokesperson of a "Turkish identity" for the Tatars. He eventually acquired Turkish citizenship. His four sons were all hockey players, most notably Feyzi Ahsen-Böre. Feyzi Ahsen-Böre
Feyzi Ahsen-Böre (Tatar: Фәйзи Әхсән Бүре, ''Fäyzi Äxsän Büre''; August 25, 1917 – 1975) was a Russian-born hockey player who played in Finnish team Ilves during 1934-1945, and won the championship three times. Ahsen-Böre came from a Tatar family and moved to Finland as a child but never acquired citizenship. He eventually became a citizen of Turkey. Ahsen-Böre lived in Istanbul since late 1940s.
