''Vasantha Geetam'' () is a 1984 Telugu-language drama film, produced by Bhimavarpu Buchi Reddy under the Jyothi Art Creations banner and directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Radha and music composed by Chakravarthy. The movie is a remake of director's own 1984 Kannada movie ''Shravana Banthu''. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao
Singeetam Srinivasa Rao (born 21 September 1931), commonly known as Singeetam, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer, composer, and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the most versatile directors of India. He is credited with having revolutionised the South Indian cinema with experimental films. He has directed about sixty films in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and English languages across multiple genres. Rama Prabha is an Indian actress who performs in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs.
