Brigitte Vasallo (Barcelona, 1973) is a Spanish writer and antiracist, feminist and LGBTI activist, specially known for her critique of gendered islamophobia, purplewashing and homonationalism, as well as for the defence of polyamory in affective relationships. Carlos Luis Vasallo Tomé (born 18 October 1950 in Valencia) is a Spanish businessman and audiovisual producer resident in Miami. Biography Carlos Luis Vasallo Tomé was born on 18 October 1950 in Valencia, Spain. He was one of the eight children of the Spanish writer and also screenwriter Jesús Vasallo (1919–1993). His father was from Ciudad Rodrigo ( Castile and León), and her mother from Teixeiro ( Galicia). At 14, he settled in Madrid to work in theater and cinema. Nicholas Roy Vasallo (born October 28, 1979) is an American composer. In 1997, Vasallo graduated from Monte Vista High School in Danville, California, where he began his musical career as an electric guitarist and vocalist in a hardcore band called Y.F.H. (which later became Antagony). He has been credited as being the father of a genre of extreme metal called deathcore. Vasallo has since evolved from a rock musician into an award-winning composer and professor of music. He is best known for his compositions combining heavy metal sounds and aesthetics with experimental classical techniques. He has released three albums containing his compositions with different independent labels. His music is published by Santa Barbara Music Publishers and released by Innova Recordings.
