Vanuatu At The 2022 Commonwealth Games
Vanuatu competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games at Birmingham, England from 28 July to 8 August 2022. It was Vanuatu's eleventh appearance at the Games. The Vanuatu team consisted of 17 athletes. Judoka Joe Mahit, beach volleyball athlete Miller Pata and para-athlete/powerlifter Ellie Enock were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony. Boxing is one of the sports contested at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, to be held in Birmingham, England at the National Exhibition Centre Hall 4. It is one of the founding sports, having featured in every edition of the Games since the inaugural 1930 edition; the boxing competition will take place within England for the third time. Chloe David (born 3 June 2005) is a Ni-Vanuatu sprinter. She represented Vanuatu in the women's 100 metres event at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Career David represented Vanuatu at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. She competed in the women's 100 and 200 metres event. She participated in the women's 100 metres at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. She placed seventh in Heat 2 of the first round with a time of 12.88 seconds.
