Vanquish (album)
''Vanquish'' is the ninth studio album by the group Two Steps from Hell, released on 2 December 2016. It consists of 17 tracks written by composers Thomas J. Bergersen and Nick Phoenix. The album is the first major public release to include no material from industry album releases. It was recorded live by Capellen Orchestra under the supervision of Petr Pololáník, and features vocal performances by Felicia Farerre, Asja Kadric, Jenifer Thigpen, and Linea Adamson. The cover artwork and the sleeve are designed by Steven R. Gilmore. The album was made available to the industry via Extreme Music on January 4, 2017. The album is dedicated to Phoenix's late son, Jack, who was killed in a hit and run incident a year before its release aged 15. SkyWorld
''SkyWorld'' is the fourth public album by the group Two Steps from Hell, released in October 2012; their third major release following the success of ''Invincible'' and ''Archangel''. The album contains 22 tracks written by composers Thomas J. Bergersen and Nick Phoenix. All tracks, except for "Dark Ages", are brand new original tracks. This is the second of their albums featuring tracks with English lyrics, namely ''Titan Dream'' (feat. C.C. White and Nick Phoenix), ''The End is the Beginning'' (feat. Nick Phoenix), and ''Back to the Earth'' (feat. Nick Phoenix). Recording took place in both Brno, Czech Republic and Los Angeles, United States. The cover and sleeve are designed by Steven R. Gilmore, with the futuristic city illustration by Sergey Vorontsov. The album was later re-released to the industry via Extreme Music, featuring exclusive bonus tracks. The ''Billboard'' charts tabulate the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the United States and elsewhere. The results are published in '' Billboard'' magazine. ''Billboard'' biz, the online extension of the ''Billboard'' charts, provides additional weekly charts, as well as year-end charts. The Independent Albums chart (previously titled Top Independent Albums) ranks the highest-selling independent music albums and extended plays (EPs) in the United States, as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan and published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. It is used to list artists who are not signed to major labels. Rankings are compiled by point-of-purchase sales obtained by Nielsen, and from legal music downloads from a variety of online music stores. The chart began in the week of February 5, 2000. Top Heatseekers are "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The Heatseekers Albums and the Heatseekers Songs charts were introduced by ''Billboard'' in 1991 with the purpose of highlighting the sales by new and developing musical recording artists. Albums and songs appearing on Top Heatseekers may also concurrently appear on the ''Billboard'' 200 or ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Albums chart The Heatseekers Albums chart contains 25 positions that are ranked by Nielsen SoundScan sales data, and charts album titles from "new or developing acts" as determined by the acts' historical chart performance. Thomas Jacob Bergersen (born 4 July 1980, Trondheim, Norway) is a Norwegian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and the co-founder of the production music company Two Steps From Hell.
