Vanoli Cremona
Guerino Vanoli Basket, also known as Vanoli Cremona, is a professional basketball team of the city of Cremona. The team played in the LBA, the top Italian basketball league, for 12 years until 2021. From 1999 to 2011 the society had the name of Gruppo Triboldi Basket. For past club sponsorship names, see the list below. History The beginnings and the promotion to Serie A The U.S. Gruppo Triboldi Basket was founded in 1999 in Soresina by Secondo Triboldi. The team, with Simone Lottici as coach, soon reached the Serie B d’Eccellenza, the third Italian league. Not having a suitable arena for this league, the club moved to the nearby indoor stadium in Cremona Cà de Somenzi, keeping the seat in Soresina. Serie A2, known for sponsorship reasons as Serie A2 Old Wild West, is a men's basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Italy. It constitutes the second-tier of the Italian basketball league system, Italian league pyramid, below the first division Lega Basket Serie A, LBA and above the third division Serie B Basket, Serie B, with promotion and relegation, promotion/relegation occurring between these leagues. The 2011–12 Lega Basket Serie A was the 90th season of the Lega Basket Serie A, the top level basketball league in Italy. The season started on 9 October 2011 and ended on 6 May 2012. Montepaschi Siena initially won the national title. However, in 2016 their championship was revoked after investigations showed financial and fiscal fraud. Hrvoje Perić (born October 25, 1985) is a Croatian professional basketball player currently playing for Benedetto XIV Cento of the Italian second-tier Serie A2 Basket. Jason Rich (born May 8, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Beşiktaş Emlakjet of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Standing at , Rich played as a guard. He played collegiately for Florida State, until 2008. Career Rich played college basketball for Florida State. After graduating, he went to Italy to play for Pallacanestro Cantù. The 2006–07 Lega Basket Serie A season, known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons, was the 88th season of the Lega Basket Serie A, the highest professional basketball league in Italy. The regular season ran from 11 October 2009 to May 2010. The top 8 teams made the play-offs whilst the lowest ranked teams, B.C.
