Vangjel Zguro
Vangjel Zguro (born 4 March 1993) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Partizani Tirana. Club career Korabi Peshkopi In July 2016, Zguro joined newly promoted Albanian Superliga side Korabi Peshkopi by signing a one-year contract. He made his team debut as well as Albanian Superliga debut on 2 October in the 3–2 away win over Teuta Durrës. On 27 December, following the end of the first part of the season, Zguro was released from his contract, ending his cooperation with the club, becoming a free agent in the process. Luftëtari Gjirokastër Within a day after his release, Zguro joined fellow Albanian Superliga side Luftëtari Gjirokastër on a free transfer. Pogradec
Pogradec () is the eleventh most populous city in Albania and the capital of the eponymous municipality. It is located on a narrow plain between two mountain chains along the southwestern banks of the Lake of Ohrid. Its climate is profoundly influenced by a seasonal Mediterranean and Continental climate. The total population is 61,530, of which 20,848 in the municipal unit (the pre-2015 municipality) Pogradec (2011 census). Pogradec and its surroundings were listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site as part of the natural and cultural heritage of the region of Ohrid. Nevertheless, the Illyrian Royal Tombs in the adjacent unit of Proptisht are on the Albanian tentative list for becoming a World Heritage Site. Albanian Superliga
The Kategoria Superiore, officially known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). The competition was founded in 1930 as the Albanian National Championship during the reign of King Zog, shortly after the creation of the Albanian Football Association. Since 1930, 45 clubs have competed in recognised competitions, while only nine clubs have won the title: Tirana (26), Dinamo Tirana (18), Partizani (16), Vllaznia (9), Skënderbeu (8), Elbasani (2), Teuta (2), Flamurtari (1), and Kukësi (1).
