Vancho Dimovski (born 4 April 1979) is a former Macedonian Team handball, handball player and former member of the North Macedonia men's national handball team, Macedonian national team. In 2015 he became a sports director for HC Rabotnichki, but in February 2016 he left Rabotnichki and became a team-manager at RK Metalurg Skopje. RK Vardar 1961 ( mk, РК Вардар 1961) is a professional handball club from Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Vardar is the most successful handball team in the country, having won fifteen national League and Cup titles. Also, Vardar is the most successful team in the regional SEHA League having won five titles. The team has also won two EHF Champions League titles. History RK Vardar was founded in 1961, as part of the Vardar Sports Club in Skopje, which had been founded in 1947. The RK Grafichar Skopje club was established in 1948, which in terms of rank and quality was right behind Rabotnichki. In 1961 Grafichar renamed itself to Vardar and almost the entire team of the club RK Partizan Skopje joined the team. RK Eurofarm Pelister II (HC Eurofarm Pelister II) ( mk, РК Еурофарм Пелистер 2) is a team handball club from Bitola, North Macedonia. It serves as the second team for RK Eurofarm Pelister. History The original team was the first handball club in Macedonia, formed in 1946 under the name Pelagonija. It later changed its name to Pelister in 1955. The 60s were very successful, winning 4 championships starting in 1960 until the last one in 1969. The club ended up winning three more titles in the 70s. In the 80s, the 1981 season was the last winning season, capturing their 8th Macedonian league title. From the 1983–84 season, Pelister began to participate regularly in the Yugoslav Handball Championship. RK Metalurg Skopje
RK Metalurg Skopje ( mk, РК Металург Скопје) is a Macedonian handball club based in Skopje. They compete in the domestic Macedonian Handball Super League and EHF European League. History The club was founded in 1971 under patronage of the Skopje steel industry. There, an idea was born to form a team composed of employees that worked in the nearby steel mill. Nikola Bogdanovski accepted the idea after it was reviewed by the board of directors. Thus, RK Metalurg was created. The same concept realized by Bogdanovski continues to live today. At the time, the club didn't even think of playing in any of the European competitions, because they played their best not to be relegated from the first league. North Macedonia Men's National Handball Team
The Macedonian national handball team is the national handball team of North Macedonia. The team is run by the Macedonian Handball Federation, the governing body of handball in North Macedonia. Prior to joining the International Handball Federation in 1991 as an independent country, North Macedonia was represented within the Yugoslavia men's national handball team. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. HC Rabotnichki
Handball Club Rabotnichki is a handball club from Skopje. It was established in 1948 as a section of the Sports Association Rabotnichki. HC Rabotnichki is a member of VIP Super Liga, the top Mens handball competition organized by the Handball Federation. History Rabotnichki together with the team of HC Vardar these are the oldest handball clubs in Macedonia. On 1 July 1945 in the "Working Hall" in Skopje, a Sports Department Rabotnichki has been founded, with Aleksandar Canko Hristov as president. Afterwards, many sports sections fused with Rabotnichki. Besides football, Rabotnichki sports department also organized the first volleyball match in after the war, as well as founding ski club and athletic club.
