André Vallée (July 31, 1930 – February 28, 2015) was a Roman Catholic bishop. Ordained to the priesthood in 1956, Vallée was named bishop of the Military Ordinariate of Canada in 1987 and served until 1996. Robert Vallée
Robert Vallée (5 October 1922 in Poitiers, France – 1 January 2017, Paris, France) was a French cyberneticist and mathematician. He was Professor at the Paris 13 University (University of Paris-Nord) and president of the World Organization of Systems and Cybernetics (WOSC). At the beginning of the 1950s, Vallée wrote his first publications on what he named "opérateur d'observation" (which means in English "operator of observation"). The latter, in the simplest case, allows a cybernetic system to observe the state of its environment and itself. Thereafter, on the basis of these results, a decisional operator will be able to indicate the action to be taken. The two stages of perception and decision are distinguished by "intellectual convenience", but it is interesting to gather them in a unique operator, known as " pragmatic". Yvonne Vallée
Yvonne Vallée (February 21, 1899 – June 15, 1996) was a French actress. Life She was born Marguerite Yvonne Vallee in Bordeaux in 1899. Vallée was the wife of Maurice Chevalier from 1927 to 1933. She died in Vallauris, France in 1996, aged 97. She is buried in the Cimetière du Grand Jas in Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes). Career Before their marriage, Yvonne Vallée was Chevalier's music hall dancing partner. She performed operetta often alongside Chevalier and was in the ensemble for the Paris debut of ''Belle of New York''. Reportedly she met Chevalier in 1924 during his period of depression on return to France from a failed venture in New York City; this culminated in attempted suicide, but things turned around for Chevalier and he married Vallée three years later. The pair is featured in the photograph "Réunion de stars du cinéma" by Erich Salomon. Stéphanie Vallée (born 24 September 1971) is a French-Canadian politician, lawyer and negotiator in Quebec. She was a member of the National Assembly of Quebec (MNA) for the provincial riding of Gatineau from 2007 to 2018, as a member of the Quebec Liberal Party. Since 2014 she served as Minister of Justice for Quebec, but decided to leave electoral politics as of the 2018 provincial general election. Vallée studied at the University of Ottawa and obtained a bachelor's degree in civil law. After working as an intern for two years, Vallée was a lawyer in Maniwaki for nearly 12 years, becoming a member of the Barreau du Quebec in 1995, and serving as a Member of the Conseil du Barreau of the former city of Hull. Hubert Prior Vallée (July 28, 1901 – July 3, 1986), known professionally as Rudy Vallée, was an American singer, musician, actor, and radio host. He was one of the first modern pop stars of the teen idol type. Early life Hubert Prior Vallée was born in Island Pond, Vermont, United States, on July 28, 1901, the son of Catherine Lynch and Charles Alphonse Vallée. His maternal grandparents were English and Irish, while his paternal grandparents were French-Canadians from Quebec. Vallée grew up in Westbrook, Maine. On March 29, 1917, he enlisted to fight in World War I, but was discharged when U.S. Navy authorities discovered he was only 15 years old. Anne Vallée (26 July 1958, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada - 31 July 1982, Triangle Island, British Columbia, ) was one of the first biologists to observe the effects of climate change, impact of climate change on animal populations. Biography Born in Quebec City, Anne Vallée completed in 1979 a bachelor's degree in biology at Laval University and took graduate studies at the University of British Columbia supported by a scholarship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council. She chose tufted puffins as a research subject and, starting in 1980, spent her summers on Triangle Island, an ecological reserve located in the Pacific Ocean west of the north tip of Vancouver Island. Jean-Marc Vallée (March 9, 1963December 25, 2021) was a Canadian filmmaker, film editor, and screenwriter. After studying film at the Université de Montréal, Vallée went on to make a number of critically acclaimed short films, including ''Stéréotypes'' (1991), ''Les Fleurs magiques'' (1995), and ''Les Mots magiques'' (1998). His debut feature, ''Black List'' (1995), was nominated for nine Genie Awards, including nods for Vallée's direction and editing. His fourth feature film, '' C.R.A.Z.Y.''
