Valley Park is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Issaquena County, Mississippi, United States. Its elevation is 95 feet (29 m). Although unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 39177. The Aden Archaeological Site is located east of Valley Park. It was first named as a CDP in the 2020 Census which listed a population of 71. History Valley Park is located on the Canadian National Railway and was originally known as Halpin. A post office operated under the name Halpin from 1884 to 1890 and first began operating under the name Valley Park in 1890. Valley Park, Missouri
Valley Park is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 6,885 at the 2020 census. History Descendants of the Mississippian culture still had a settlement along the Meramec River in the mid-18th century, until the Native Americans were pushed out by colonial French and German immigrant farmers in the 1760s. The developing village over time was known as Nasby, Sulphur Springs, Quinette, Meramec, and finally Valley Park by ''circa'' 1890. It had one of the first post offices established in St. Louis County. It developed as a railroad hub for the Missouri Pacific and St. Louis-San Francisco rail lines. In 1894, the town became the site of the first lynching in St. Louis County. A black man named John Buckner was lynched when accused of raping a local black woman and a white teenager. Valley Retail and Leisure Park is a retail park in the Purley Way retail and industrial area in Croydon, England. It is located near the Broad Green and Waddon areas of the London Borough of Croydon. Valley Park was opened in 1992 on the site of the former Croydon power stations, the first of which was built in the late nineteenth century. Croydon B power station was closed in 1984 and the majority of the site cleared in 1991.
