Valley Forge High School
Valley Forge High School is located in Parma Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. It is one of three high schools in the Parma City School District, which is one of the largest school districts in the state of Ohio, serving the cities of Parma, Parma Heights, and Seven Hills. The school's colors are navy blue and white; its sports teams are known as the Patriots. Valley Forge High School athletic teams compete in the Northeast Ohio Conference. In the 2005 Marching Season, Valley Forge Patriot Marching Band became the first band in the Parma City School District to earn the right to attend and perform at the OMEA Marching Band State Finals in Columbus, Ohio. Parma Heights, Ohio
Parma Heights is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States and a western suburb of Cleveland. Parma Heights is surrounded on the north, east and south by the larger city of Parma, Ohio, Parma. The cities of Brook Park and Middleburg Heights form most of the western border. Northeast Ohio Conference
The Northeast Ohio Conference (NOC) was a high school athletics conference, recognized by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), in northeast Ohio. Eighteen member schools — each located within the Northeast District of the OHSAA (Class AAA, Divisions I and II) * — competed in three six-member divisions: Valley, River and Lake. James Michael Meder (born April 12, 1991) is a former American football defensive tackle. He played college football at Ashland University. He has been nicknamed the "Pierogi Prince of Parma." Early years Meder played high school football at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights, Ohio. He was named first-team all-conference and was tabbed the defensive player of the year as a senior. He was also named second-team All-Ohio. Meder lettered four times in wrestling and three times in football. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. James Kovach (born May 1, 1956) is an American entrepreneur, physician, attorney and former American football linebacker who played seven seasons in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers. James Dalessandro (born 1948) is an American writer and filmmaker. He is best known for his historical-fiction novel ''1906'' based on events surrounding the great San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906.
