Valery Likhachov
Valery Nikolayevich Likhachov (russian: Валерий Николаевич Лихачëв; born 5 December 1947) is a retired Russian cyclist. He was part of the Soviet team that won the Cycling at the 1972 Summer Olympics – Men's team time trial, 100 km team time trial event at the 1970 UCI Road World Championships and the 1972 Summer Olympics; individually, he finished in 34th place in the Cycling at the 1972 Summer Olympics – Men's individual road race, road race in 1972. In 1972 he also won the Tour du Maroc and Tour de la Province de Namur. Next year he won six stages of the Peace Race, finishing third overall; in 1975, he won three stages individually, and the overall race in the team competition. Novosheshminsky District
Novosheshminsky District (russian: Новошешминский райо́н; tt-Cyrl, Яңа Чишмә районы, ''Yaña Çişmä rayonı'') is an territorial administrative unit and municipality of the Republic of Tatarstan within the Russian Federation. The district is located in the center of the republic and covers a total area of 1315 square kilometers (or 507.7 sq miles). According to the 2010 census, the municipality had a population of 14,179. The administrative center, the “ selo” (village) of Novosheshminsk, houses 32.2% of the district's total population.
