Valenzuela Station
Valenzuela station, formerly known as Polo station, is a former railway station located on the North Main Line in Dalandanan, Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is currently being rebuilt as part of the first phase of the North–South Commuter Railway. History The station opened in as Polo station, in what was then the municipality of Polo in Bulacan. This was originally part of the railway line connecting Manila to northern Luzon. It once served as a flag stop. Along with the then-municipality, it was later renamed and known as Valenzuela station. The station was abandoned in 1997 after services to Meycauayan ceased. It was supposed to be built as a result of the ''Northrail project'', a rebuilding of the line from Manila to Pampanga which would partly use the old right-of-way. MacArthur Highway
The MacArthur Highway, officially the Manila North Road (MNR or MaNor), is a , two-to-six lane, national primary highway and tertiary highway in Luzon, Philippines, connecting Caloocan in Metro Manila to Aparri in Cagayan. It is the second longest road in the Philippines, after Maharlika Highway. In public transport, a request stop, flag stop, or whistle stop is a stop or station at which buses or trains, respectively, stop only on request; that is, only if there are passengers or freight to be picked up or dropped off. E5 Expressway (Philippines)
Expressway 5 (E5) forms part of the Philippine expressway network. Collectively known as the North Luzon Expressway Harbor Link Project (NLEX Harbor Link Project), it runs from Congressional Avenue and Luzon Avenue, both components of Circumferential Road 5, in Quezon City to Radial Road 10 in Navotas, linking the North Luzon Expressway to the Port of Manila. Antonio Narciso Luna de San Pedro y Novicio Ancheta (; October 29, 1866 – June 5, 1899) was a Filipino army general who fought in the Philippine–American War before his assassination in 1899. Regarded as one of the fiercest generals of his time, he succeeded Artemio Ricarte as the Commanding General of the Philippine Army. He sought to apply his background in military science to the fledgling army.
