Valentina Massi
Valentina Massi (born 23 April 1983 in Forlimpopoli, Emilia-Romagna, Italy) is an Italian model and beauty pageant titleholder who the winner of the Miss Universo Italia 2007 pageant that was held at the Teatro Giacosa in Ivrea, Piedmont on 21 April 2007. She represented Italy at the Miss Universe 2007 pageant in Mexico City on 28 May. In 2000 she entered the Miss Italia pageant where she was a finalist. In 2006 she entered the Miss Mondo Italia pageant (which selects the Italian delegate who will compete at Miss World) as Miss Mondo Romagna. She was a finalist there as well and won the Miss Model national sash. Valentina stands and she's a Taurus (astrology), Taurus. She speaks English language, English and French language, French. Miss World is the oldest existing international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Miss Universe 2007 was the 56th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, Mexico on May 28, 2007. At the end of the event, Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico crowned Riyo Mori from Japan as Miss Universe 2007. Miss Italia is a beauty pageant awarding prizes every year to young, female contestants from Italy. Since the first edition of the contest in 1939 many of the contestants have gone on to notable careers in television and film. History The forerunner of Miss Italia was '' Miss Sorriso'' (Miss Smile) started in 1939 by Dino Villani, and sponsored by a brand of toothpaste.
