Valentin Nüssbaumer
Valentin Nüssbaumer (born 25 September 2000) is a Swiss professional ice hockey left winger who is currently playing with HC Davos of the National League (NL). Nüssbaumer was drafted 207th overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Nüssbaumer made his professional debut with EHC Biel in the 2017–18 season, appearing in 26 National League games this season. He spent the rest of the season with Biel's junior team in the Elite Junior A, where he played 20 games and put up 18 points (7 goals) and added 6 points (3 goals) in 8 games in the playoffs. Nüssbaumer spent the 2018–19 season with the Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL. He played an additional 31 games with the team during the 2019–20 season before returning to EHC Biel for the end of the season. Delémont (; fc, D'lémont; german: Delsberg, ) is the capital of the Swiss canton of Jura. The city has approximately 12,000 inhabitants . Perttu Lindgren (born August 26, 1987) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey center who briefly played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Dallas Stars. Playing career Lindgren played with Ilves Tampere in the Finnish SM-liiga when he was drafted 75th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars. Lindgren signed an entry-level contract with the Stars and in the 2009–10 season, made his NHL debut, playing in a single game for the Stars. On April 10, 2010, as a restricted free agent Lindgren opted to return to the SM-liiga, signing with Lukko Rauma. On May 19, 2012 Lindgren signed a contract with Kontinental Hockey League club Atlant Mytishchi. IIHF World U20 Championship
The IIHF World Junior Championship (WJC), or simply the "World Juniors" in ice hockey circles, is an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for national under-20 ice hockey teams from around the world. It is traditionally held in late December, ending in early January. The tournament usually attracts the top hockey players in this age category. The main tournament features the top ten ranked hockey nations in the world, comprising the 'Top Division', from which a world champion is crowned. The 2020 Ice Hockey World Junior Championships (''2020 WJC'') was the 44th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship. It began on December 26, 2019, and ended with the gold medal game being played on January 5, 2020. Canada defeated Russia 4–3 to win the gold medal and their 18th world junior hockey championship. This marks the fourth time that the Czech Republic hosted the WJHC. On April 16, 2018, it was announced that Ostrava and Třinec, in the Moravian-Silesian Region in the northeast corner of the Czech Republic, would be the host cities. It is the second time that Ostrava has been the primary host of the tournament and the first time that Třinec is hosting in any capacity.
