Valencia CF Mestalla
Valencia Club de Fútbol Mestalla, shortened to Valencia Mestalla, is the reserve team of Valencia CF, a List of football clubs in Spain, Spanish football club based in Valencia, in the Valencian Community, namesake community. Founded in 1944, and currently plays in Segunda Federación, Segunda Federación – Group 3, holding home games at ''Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna'', with a 4,000-seat capacity. Unlike in English football league system, England, reserve teams in Spanish football league system, Spain play in the same football pyramid as their senior team rather than a separate league. However, reserve teams cannot play in the same division as their senior team. Therefore, the team is ineligible for promotion to La Liga, the division in which the main side plays. The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Segunda División, commercially known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, is the men's second professional association football division of the Spanish football league system. The 1954–55 Tercera División season was the 19th since its establishment. Format 164 teams competed in 16 geographic groups. For the first time there were North African and Balearic Islands groups. 1946–47 Tercera División
The 1946–47 Tercera División was the 11th edition of the Spanish national third tier. Format 120 clubs in 12 geographic groups of 10 participated. The winner and runner up of each group (24 teams) progressed to the second phase (Fase Intermedia). In the second phase 3 groups of 8 teams were formed with each club playing home and away matches (14 matches each). The winners and runners up (6 teams) entered the Fase Final and played home and away against each other (10 matches each). The winner and runner up of the Fase Final were promoted to the Segunda División, and the third placed team played off in a Promotion/Relegation tie against the 12th placed team in the Segunda División. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''.
