Vajramuni
Sadananda Sagar (11 May 1944 – 5 January 2006), better known by his stage name Vajramuni, was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films. He portrayed negative characters during most of his career and was considered one of Kannada cinema's finest actors. Over his career, he came to be known for his "thundering voice and sterling performance that earned him the epithets, ''Nata Bhairava'' and ''Nata Bhayankara''. Vajramuni began his career as a stage actor and gained popularity with his portrayal of Ravana in Kanagal Prabhakar Shastri's play ''Prachanda Ravana''. He made his film debut in 1969 with Puttanna Kanagal's ''Mallammana Pavada''. Sampathige Saval
''Sampathige Savaal'' () is a 1974 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed by A. V. Seshagiri Rao and produced by A. N. Murthy, based on the play ''Saahukaara'' written by B. P. Dhuttharagi. The film stars Dr. Rajkumar, Rajkumar, Vajramuni and Manjula (Kannada actress), Manjula. The screenplay, dialogues and lyrics for the soundtracks were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar. ''Mayura'' is a 1975 Indian Kannada-language historical drama film, directed by Vijay. It is one of the most popular films of acclaimed Kannada actor Rajkumar, who plays the role of Prince Mayurasharma of the Kadamba dynasty, the earliest native kingdom to rule over what is today the modern state of Karnataka. Shubraveshti Ramaswamiah Seetharama Sharma (1 December 1933 – 5 June 1985), known popularly as S. R. Puttanna Kanagal, was an Indian filmmaker known for his work in Kannada cinema. He is often considered one of Kannada cinema's most influential filmmakers. Background and personal life Puttanna Kanagal was born to Ramaswamaiah and Subbamma in Kanagal, a village in the erstwhile Kingdom of Mysore into a poor family. Mallammana Pavaada (Meaning: The miracle of Mallamma) is a 1969 Kannada film, directed by Puttanna Kanagal. The film is based on the novel ''Ardhaangi'' written by B. Puttaswamayya. The screenplay was by P. Pullaiah based on his 1955 Telugu movie with similar story titled ''Ardhangi'', which itself was based on Maddipatla Suri's Telugu translation of the Bengali novel ''Swayamsidda'', written by Manilal Banerjee.
