Vahid Tarokh (; born ) is an Iranian-American electrical engineer, mathematician, computer scientist, and professor. Since 2018, he has served as a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, a Professor of Mathematics, and the Rhodes Family Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. From 2019-2021, he was a Microsoft Data Science Investigator at Microsoft Innovation Hub at Duke University. Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Hossein Wahid Khorasani ( fa, حسین وحید خراسانی; born Mohammad-Hossein Molla-Saleh (Persian: ); 1 January 1921) is an Iranian author and Shia marja'. He is the current head of the Qom Seminary. Khorasani is considered to be the most learned Shia religious authority alive. Vahit Melih Halefoğlu
Vahit Melih Halefoğlu (19 November 1919 – 20 January 2017) was a Turkish politician and diplomat. Following his education at the School of Political Science in Ankara University in 1942 he entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Between 1962 and 1983, Halefoğlu served as ambassador in Beirut (1962–1965), Kuwait City (1964–1965), Moscow (1965–1966, 1982–1983), The Hague (1966–1970) and Bonn (1972–1982). After the general elections held in 1983, Turgut Özal appointed him Minister of Foreign Affairs from outside of the parliament. At the intermediate general elections of 1986, he was elected deputy of Ankara from the Motherland Party (ANAP). Vahit Kirişci (born 4 December 1960) is a Turkish politician. He has been serving as the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry since 4 March 2022. Career He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of Çukurova University. He completed his doctorate at the Cranfield University in England. He worked as part of the technical staff in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He gave lectures as a lecturer at Çukurova University. Club career He began receiving media attention when he was able to save Ali Daei's spot kick in an IPL match at the beginning of the 2005/2006 season. Vahid Shamsaei ( fa, وحید شمسايی ; born 21 September 1975) is an Iranian professional futsal coach and former player. He was a Pivot and he scored 392 goals in international matches.
