''Vaguthu Faaithu Nuvanees'' is a Maldivian romantic drama television series developed for Television Maldives by Arifa Ibrahim. The series stars Niuma Mohamed, Mariyam Zuhura, Lufshan Shakeeb and Ahmed Asim in pivotal roles. Premise Sama (Niuma Mohamed), Shazma ( Mariyam Zuhura) and Firaq (Ahmed Azmeel) are three colleagues working at the same office under Shifaz ( Lufshan Shakeeb). Sama, the pampered daughter of Waheed (Roanu Hassan Manik) and Shameema (Aminath Shareef) has romantic feeling towards Shifaz while he is more attracted to Shazma who lives with his brother, Saleem (Ali Shameel) and her wicked sister-in-law, Jameela (Aminath Rasheedha). Aminath Shareef is a Maldivian film actress. Career Mariyam Shauqee's widely acclaimed family drama television series ''Kahthiri'' was released in 1998, where she played the role of the sister of an indolent mother. Mohamed Faisal is a Maldivian film actor, editor and director. Career Faisal made his film debut with the romantic film ''Loaiybahtakaa'' (2009), written and directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu in which he stars as businessman from a wealthy family struggling to express his feelings. Ahmed Nimal
Ahmed Nimal is a Maldivian actor, director, editor, writer and producer. Early life Prior to acting in films, Nimal worked at Maldives Meteorological Service office. His interest in films and acting grew due to the influence of his colleagues including Easa Shareef and other friends who actively take part in theatre plays. Career Nimal made his career debut with ''Nufoozu'' (1984), an initiation by Shareef and his colleagues. Mariyam Shakeela is a Maldivian film actress. Career 1992–2007: Early releases After completing her education in MCS and EPS, Shakeela married to comedian Yoosuf Rafeeu who was then a producer and news presenter at Television Maldives. Ali Shameel is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career In 1986, Shameel took part in a stage-play titled CDS-6, alongside Kashima Shakir, Mohamed Rasheed and Chilhiya Moosa Manik which was appreciated among the audience and he continues to feature in several other stage dramas. Roanu Hassan Manik is a widely acclaimed Maldivian film actor, who mainly works in the Maldivian film industry.
