Vadistanbul (Istanbul Metro)
Vadistanbul is an elevated station and the western terminus of the F3 funicular line of the Istanbul Metro. The station consists of a bay platform with one track inside a Spheroid A spheroid, also known as an ellipsoid of revolution or rotational ellipsoid, is a quadric surface obtained by rotating an ellipse about one of its principal axes; in other words, an ellipsoid with two equal semi-diameters. The station is the first and only rapid transit station in Turkey to be directly connected to a privately owned structure. Trains operate to Seyrantepe in seven minute intervals daily between 8:00 and 22:00. Sarıyer
Sarıyer () is the northernmost district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European side of the city. It consists of the neighbourhoods of Rumelifeneri, Tarabya, Yeniköy, İstinye, Emirgan and Rumelihisarı. Sarıyer also administers the Black Sea coast to the west of the mouth of the Bosphorus, including the neighbourhood of Kilyos. It borders Eyüp to the northwest, Beşiktaş to the south and Kağıthane to the west. Sarıyer has a population of approximately 260,000. The mayor is Şükrü Genç of the Republican People's Party (CHP). In 1930, some parts of the region of Beyoğlu and Çatalca were incorporated into Sarıyer, which also became the district centre. Vadistanbul is a shopping center and mixed-use complex in the Ayazağa neighborhood, Sarıyer district, Istanbul. It forms the northern edge of the Istanbul Central Business District, a series of clustered residential and office towers, shopping malls, hospitals, universities, venues, etc. stretching 10km northward from Taksim Square. F3 (Istanbul Metro)
The F3, also known as the Vadistanbul Skyrail ( tr, Vadistanbul Havaray) and officially referred to as the F3 Vadistanbul-Seyrantepe funicular line ( tr, F3 Vadistanbul-Seyrantepe füniküler hattı), is a long funicular railway in Sarıyer, Istanbul. The line is one of three funicular railways in Turkey, all of them in Istanbul, and is the only one that operates above ground.
