Vadims Fjodorovs
Vadims Fjodorovs (born 14 March 1977 in Daugavpils) is a Latvian former football goalkeeper, currently a goalkeeping coach for Daugava Daugavpils in the Latvian Higher League. He played for FC Dinaburg, but after the club's elimination from Virsliga in 2009, he became an unrestricted free agent and joined FC Daugava. In 2001, while playing for FC Dinaburg, Fjodorovs was voted Latvia's Goalkeeper of the Year. Daugavpils (; russian: Двинск; ltg, Daugpiļs ; german: Dünaburg, ; pl, Dyneburg; see other names) is a state city in south-eastern Latvia, located on the banks of the Daugava River, from which the city gets its name. Virsliga
Latvian Higher League or Virslīga is a professional football league and the top tier of association football in Latvia. Organised by the Latvian Football Federation, the Higher League is contested by 10 clubs. The full name of the league is Optibet Virslīga for sponsorship reasons since 2019.
