VV DOS
DHSC is a football club in the Ondiep district of Utrecht, Netherlands. The club plays in the 2022-23 Vierde Divisie. History VV DOS (1901–2004) Voetbalvereniging Door Oefening Sterk, in short VV DOS, was established in 1901. The club won the national championship in 1958. In 1970 its professional branch merged with Velox and USV Elinkwijk to form FC Utrecht. The amateur section continued until 2004 when it merged with USV Holland to form DHC '04. USV Holland (1917–2004) USV Holland, short for Utrechtse Sportvereniging Holland, was founded on 3 December 1917. They played at the Sportpark Thorbecke, Utrecht. From 1992 to 2000 the club played in the Hoofdklasse, at that time the highest amateur league. In 1993 and 1995 it became Sunday amateur champions. The ''Nieuwsblad van het Noorden'' (; "Newspaper of the North") is a former regional daily newspaper from the city of Groningen in the Netherlands. It was published from 1888 to 2002, when it was merged with the ''Groninger Dagblad'' and the ''Drentse Courant'' into the ''Dagblad van het Noorden'', which published its first edition on 2 April 2002. The first issue of the ''Nieuwsblad van het Noorden'' appeared on 2 June 1888. Until 1997 its offices were in a 1903 Jugendstil building in the Gedempte Zuiderdiep designed by . Het Vrije Volk
''Het Vrije Volk'' was a Dutch social-democratic daily newspaper. It was the successor, after World War II, of the socialist daily '' Het Volk''. The paper appeared legally 1 March 1945 in Eindhoven. From 28 January 1946, all subdivisions of the newspaper were united and a national edition was introduced. For a time, it was the biggest newspaper in the Netherlands and at its peak it had over 300 editors and reporters. After 1958, the number of subscribers decreased rapidly. The newspaper disappeared in 1970 as a national newspaper from Amsterdam, only regional editions remained and at the end of 1971 only Rotterdam was its home base. The last edition entitled ''Het Vrije Volk'' appeared on 30 March 1991 and it was merged with the ''Rotterdams Nieuwsblad'' into the ''Rotterdams Dagblad''.
