V. Ramaswami
Veeraswami Ramaswami was a judge of the Supreme Court of India and the first judge against whom removal proceedings were initiated in independent India. Another judge to face removal proceedings is Soumitra Sen of Calcutta High Court, proceedings against whom were initiated in Rajya Sabha on 17 August 2011. Ramasamy Thamaraikani (19 October 1946 – 15 September 2005) was an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu and a Member of Legislative Assembly. He was elected to Tamil Nadu state assembly five times from Srivilliputhur constituency, three times as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) candidate under M. G.
