Central Sanskrit University, formerly Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, is a central university (India), central university located in New Delhi, India, to promote Sanskrit. Established in 1970, it functions under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It offers B.A., B.Ed., M.A., M.Ed., and Ph.D. programs and offers a distance learning program in Sanskrit. World Sanskrit Conference
The World Sanskrit conference is an international conference organised at various locations globally. It has been held in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. The Delhi International Sanskrit Conference of 1972 is considered to be the first World Sanskrit Conference. So far it has been held in India four times (1972, 1981, 1997, 2012).
