''Uzi Does It'' is the debut album from Get Busy Committee, which was released on October 27, 2009 through Tokyo Sex Whale Records. It consists of vocals and production by Ryu and Apathy of Demigodz, and Scoop DeVille. Get Busy Committee
Get Busy Committee (a.k.a. GBC) was a hip hop group consisting of underground rapper Apathy, Styles of Beyond's Ryu, and producer Scoop DeVille. Group Info Get Busy Committee was formed in Los Angeles, California, by longtime friends Ryu, Apathy and Scoop DeVille. They claim their influences come from Eazy-E, BBD (Bell Biv DeVoe), BDP (Boogie Down Productions). All production is done by Scoop DeVille and Apathy, while vocals are given by everyone in the group. Their debut album, ''Uzi Does It'', was released for pre-sale download on October 27, 2009 at www.getbusycommittee.com, and available on iTunes and other outlets on November 10, 2009. The album is a 100% self-funded and self-released independent record. Future As of 2012, Get Busy Committee is on hiatus, or "dead" as they refer to the status of the group. Chad Bromley (born March 8, 1979), better known by his stage name Apathy (formerly "The Alien Tongue"), is a rapper and producer from Willimantic, Connecticut. His first major release was his debut album; '' Eastern Philosophy'' in March 2006 with guest appearances from Celph Titled, Ryu, and Blue Raspberry. His second album '' Wanna Snuggle?'' was released in 2009 and his third studio album '' Honkey Kong'' was released in 2011, both to critical acclaim. Elijah Blue Molina (born October 15, 1987), better known by his stage name Scoop DeVille, is an American record producer, rapper and DJ. DeVille has produced records for rappers such as Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nipsey Hussle, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and Fat Joe. He produced Kendrick Lamar's "Poetic Justice" featuring Drake, as well as Snoop Dogg's "I Wanna Rock" featuring Jay-Z, both of which charted in the top 50 of the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. Styles of Beyond was an American underground hip hop group from the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. The group consists of MCs Ryan Patrick Maginn (Ryu) and Takbir Bashir (Tak), Colton Raisin Fisher (DJ Cheapshot), and producer Jason Rabinowitz (Vin Skully). They have released two LPs, one mixtape and were heavily featured on Mike Shinoda's Fort Minor project in 2005. At one point they were also signed to Shinoda's Machine Shop Recordings label, although they left the label in late 2008. Demigodz
Demigodz are an American hip hop collective founded by Connecticut rappers Open Mic and Reflex. The group was originally named "The Nobility" but Open Mic renamed the group "The Demigodz" with inspiration from one of his own verses. The group has changed several times through the years. As of 2012, the group consists of; Apathy, Celph Titled, Ryu, Esoteric, Motive, & Blacastan. The group was originally formed in 1990 by Connecticut emcees Open Mic and Reflex. Apathy joined the group after hearing a demo on the University of Connecticut radio station 91.7.
