Diddo is the artist name of "Diddo Velema" (born 7 July 1977). He is a Dutch conceptual artist and designer. Diddo is not part of a movement, although the media have compared his work "Ecce Animal" to the works of Damien Hirst and the other Young British Artists (YBA). Biography Diddo Velema studied Media Design at the Utrecht School of the Arts and obtained his MA degree in Media Design from the University of Portsmouth in 2001. He works in Amsterdam. Barbara Woof (; born 1958) is an Australian-Dutch composer and music educator. Biography Barbara Woof was born in Sydney, Australia. She studied composition at the University of Sydney with Peter Sculthorpe and graduated in 1980 cum laude with a Bachelor of Music diploma. She received a scholarship in 1981 to study in the Netherlands, and then completed further studies in 1985 at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Peter Schat and Jan van Vlijmen. She also studied electronic composition with Jan Boerman and analog studio technology at the Institute of Sonology in Utrecht with Jaap Vink. Herman Witkam
Herman Witkam (born 19 March 1985) is a Dutch composer and multi-instrumentalist, best known for his scores to motion pictures. During his studies at the Utrecht School of the Arts, Witkam worked on a number of online shorts through the DVXUser online film festivals. For two of these films, ''Rekindled'' and ''A Little Mouth to Feed'', both directed by Jack Daniel Stanley, Witkam won awards at the Shriekfest and HollyShorts Film Festival respectively. Emmy Verhey (born 13 March 1949, in Amsterdam) is a Dutch violinist. Biography Verhey received her first violin lesson from her father when she was seven. Within a year, she played the Violin Concerto in A minor and the Concerto for Two Violins by Johann Sebastian Bach. Recognized as a child prodigy, she went to study at age 8 with the Austrian-born violin teacher Oskar Back. Later she studied with Herman Krebbers, Bela Dekany, Wolfgang Schneiderhan in Lucerne and David Oistrakh in Moscow. At the age of 17, she was the youngest prize winning finalist at the 1966 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. A week later Verhey graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory. Janine Jansen (born 7 January 1978) is a Dutch violinist and violist. Early life and education Jansen was born in Soest in the Netherlands and came from a musical family. Her father plays organ, harpsichord and piano; from 1987 to mid-2011 he was the organist of St. Martin's Cathedral, Utrecht, and was invested as a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau.
