Us Again (film)
''Us Again'' is a 2021 American animated short film directed and written by Zach Parrish and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It follows Art, a grumpy old man, and Dot, his energetic wife, in a vibrant city of dance. The two enjoy themselves in a rainstorm that makes them young until it disappears and reverts them back to old age. Parrish conceived ''Us Again'' after noticing that he was growing older and took inspiration from his grandparents. Its score, composed by Pinar Toprak, was written before storyboarding and animation, unlike the typical filmmaking process. For dance reference, Disney hired choreographers Keone and Mari Madrid. ''Us Again'' was released on March 5, 2021, preceding theatrical showings of ''Raya and the Last Dragon''. The short has received positive reviews from critics. Pinar Toprak
Pinar Toprak (born 18 October 1980) is a Turkish-American composer for film, television and video games. She is most well known for composing the score to the hit Marvel movie '' Captain Marvel'' (2019). She has won three International Film Music Critics Association Awards for '' The Lightkeepers'' (2009), '' The Wind Gods'' (2013), and ''The'' ''Tides of Fate'' (2018), as well as the fanfare of Skydance Media from 2010 to 2022 and contributed music for ''Fortnite''. Toprak was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, where she began her classical musical education at the age of five. After studying composition and multiple instruments at the conservatory she moved to Chicago to study jazz, before continuing on to Boston for a degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music. Bob Marley and the Wailers (previously known as The Wailers, and prior to that The Wailing Rudeboys, The Wailing Wailers and The Teenagers) were a Jamaican ska, rocksteady and reggae band. The founding members, in 1963, were Bob Marley (Robert Nesta Marley), Peter Tosh (Hubert Winston McIntosh), and Bunny Wailer (Neville Livingston). During 1970 and 1971, Wailer, Marley and Tosh worked with renowned reggae producers Leslie Kong and Lee "Scratch" Perry. They released four albums before signing to Island Records in 1972.
