Ursula Neugebauer
Ursula Neugebauer (* 13 December 1960 in Hamm /Westfalen) is a German artist. Biography Ursula Neugebauer studied visual art at the Academy of Fine Arts Münster, where she was named a master student by Timm Ulrichs, as well as literature at the University of Münster. She taught high school for a while and subsequently worked as an art therapist at thUniversitätklinikum Münster From 1999 to 2002 she lectured in the Department of Architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin. She has been professor of visual art at the Berlin University of the Arts. since 2003. Works She works as an artist at the interface between installation, object, space, and media. Hamm (, Latin: ''Hammona'') is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in the northeastern part of the Ruhr area. As of 2016 its population was 179,397. The city is situated between the A1 motorway and A2 motorway. Hamm railway station is an important hub for rail transport and renowned for its distinctive station building. History Coat of arms The coat of arms has been in use in its present form for about 750 years. It shows the markish chessboard ("märkischen Schachbalken") in red and silver on a golden field. Originally it was the founders' coat of arms, i. e. the Counts of Mark. The chessboard and the colours are often displayed in the coats of arms of further towns founded by that family line. Manfred Schneckenburger
Manfred Schneckenburger (1 December 1938 – 2 December 2019) was a German art historian and curator of modern and contemporary art. He was the curator of the ''documenta'' art exhibition twice, documenta 6 in 1977 and documenta 8 in 1987. He was the only person outside of the exhibition’s founder, Arnold Bode to have led ''documenta'' twice. He was the director of the Kunsthalle Köln from 1973 to 1974. He served as rector of the Kunstakademie Münster. Life and work Early years Manfred Schneckenburger was born 1 December 1938 in Stuttgart, Germany. Schneckenburger studied German literature, history, and the history of art. He first worked as a school teacher for some years and later as an art critic. Neuenhaus
Neuenhaus is a town in the district of Grafschaft Bentheim in Lower Saxony, and is the seat of a like-named collective municipality Neuenhaus (Samtgemeinde), Neuenhaus. Neuenhaus lies on the rivers Dinkel and Vechte near the border with the Netherlands and is roughly 10 km northwest of Nordhorn, and 30 km north of Enschede. History Neuenhaus was founded in 1317 on the trade road between Münster and Amsterdam by County of Bentheim, Bentheim’s Count Johannes II, who also had a castle built for its security. The quickly growing new town was granted town rights in 1369. The town had at its disposal an ''Amt (administrative division), Amt'' court and other authorities that were moved to the district seat of Nordhorn after the Second World War. Leopold Museum
The Leopold Museum, housed in the Museumsquartier in Vienna, Austria, is home to one of the largest collections of modern Austrian art, featuring artists such as Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, Oskar Kokoschka and Richard Gerstl.
