Uroš Predić
Uroš Predić ( sr-Cyrl, Урош Предић, ; Orlovat, 7 December 1857 – Belgrade, 12 February 1953) was a Serbian Realist painter. Predić is perhaps best known for his early works depicting ordinary people, as well as his many portraits. Biography He was born in Orlovat, and attended primary school in Crepaja. After finishing his secondary education in Pančevo (this school was later named after him), he went to Vienna to study at the academy in 1876. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Vienna in 1880. He studied in the class of professor Christian Griepenkerl, who also taught Predić's contemporary Paja Jovanović. During his studies, he received the Gundel's prize – for a male model painting in oil. In 1882, he worked in private studio of professor Grieppenkerl, and in the period from 1883 to 1885 he was an assistant professor of the Department of Antiquity at the Art academy in Vienna. Uroš Đurić (; born 4 December 1964) is a Serbian conceptual artist, actor and painter based in Belgrade. He studied art history at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy and painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Uroš Knežević ( sr-cyr, Урош Кнежевић; 2 January 1811 – 21 October 1876) was a Serbs, Serbian painter. Knežević is best-known as portraitist, having produced more than 200 portraits, mostly of notable people of his time. Life He was born in Sremski Karlovci to father Teodor and mother Julijana. Even though he spent most of his life in Serbia, there is very little information about his life. About his first years of education the artist himself wrote that he had enjoyed drawing even as a child and that he felt thoroughly devoted to drawing. The Serbs ( sr-Cyr, Срби, Srbi, ) are the most numerous South Slavic ethnic group native to the Balkans in Southeastern Europe, who share a common Serbian ancestry, culture, history and language. Uroš Drenović
Uroš Drenović ( sr-Cyrl, Урош Дреновић; 1911 – 29 May 1944) was a Bosnian Serb military commander in the central Bosnia region of the fascist puppet state known as the Independent State of Croatia (NDH), led by the Ustaše, during World War II. After distinguishing himself in resisting the Ustaše alongside communist-led rebels, Drenović betrayed the communist-led Partisans and began to collaborate with the Ustaše, Italians and Germans against them. Following the German-led Axis invasion of Yugoslavia in April 1941, the Ustaše implemented genocidal policies against the NDH's Serbs, Jews and Roma. Drenović joined the Partisans and distinguished himself during the initial uprising against the NDH government by capturing the town of Mrkonjić Grad in August 1941. Uroš Lajovic is a Slovenian conductor. He has served as guest conductor, permanent conductor, artistic director and artistic advisor at numerous prominent European orchestras. Career Uroš Lajovic, born on July 4, 1944 in Slovenia studied composition and conducting in his home town Ljubljana. In the years 1975 to 1979 he was the chief conductor of the RTV Chamber Orchestra. After having studied with Prof. Bruno Maderna at Mozarteum in Salzburg he continued at Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria with Prof. Hans Swarowsky in whose class Lajovic received a master's degree with honors. Uroš Tripković ( sr-cyr, Урош Трипковић; born September 11, 1986) is a Serbian former professional basketball player. He represented the Serbian national basketball team internationally. Standing at , he played as a shooting guard and was known as a good 3-point shooter. Player profile Tripković was a skilled guard and a prolific 3-point shooter.
