Urmas Klaas (born on 17 March 1971 Räpina) is an Estonian politician. Since 2014 he is the mayor of Tartu. Since 2006 he belongs to Estonian Reform Party. 1998 he graduated from University of Tartu. 2004-2007 Ummi was elder of Põlva County ( et, Põlva maavanem). Räpina was administrative centre of Räpina raion from 1950 until 1961, currently it is the administrative centre of Räpina Parish. Estonian Reform Party
The Estonian Reform Party ( et, Eesti Reformierakond) is a liberal political party in Estonia. The party has been led by Kaja Kallas since 2018. It is colloquially known as the "Squirrel Party" ( et, Oravapartei). It was founded in 1994 by Siim Kallas, then-president of the Bank of Estonia, as a split from Pro Patria National Coalition Party. As the Reform Party has participated in most of the government coalitions in Estonia since the mid-1990s, its influence has been significant, especially regarding Estonia's free market and policies of low taxation.
