Uriel Miron
Uriel Miron ( he, אוריאל מירון; born 1968) is an Israeli artist and sculptor. Biography Uriel Miron was born in Tel Aviv in 1968. His grandmother is Dvora Schocken, An Israeli art collector. For many years he lived with his father, the literary critic Dan Miron, in the United States. In the 1980s he learned Literature at Yale University. in the 1990s he returned to live in Israel and studied Art at Bezalel. According to the Book of Judges, Deborah ( he, דְּבוֹרָה, ''Dəḇōrā'', " bee") was a prophetess of the God of the Israelites, the fourth Judge of pre-monarchic Israel and the only female judge mentioned in the Bible. Many scholars contend that the phrase, "a woman of Lappidot", as translated from biblical Hebrew in Judges 4:4 denotes her marital status as the wife of Lappidot.Van Wijk-Bos, Johanna WH. Dan Miron ( he, דן מירון, born 1934) is an Israeli-born American literary critic and author. An expert on modern Hebrew and Yiddish literature, Miron is a Professor emeritus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is currently the Leonard Kaye Professor of Hebrew and Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies (MESAAS) at Columbia University. Since the 1950s Professor Miron published dozens of books and hundreds of articles on different modern Hebrew and also Yiddish writers, including Hayim Nahman Bialik, Nathan Alterman, Uri Zvi Greenberg and Sholem Aleichem. The Information Center for Israeli Art is the largest collection of primary resources documenting the history of the Israeli art in Israel. Over 12,000 artists files are housed in the Center in the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. In Exodus 31:1-6 and chapters 36 to 39, Bezalel, Bezaleel, or Betzalel ( he, בְּצַלְאֵל, ''Bəṣalʼēl''), was the chief artisan of the Tabernacle and was in charge of building the Ark of the Covenant, assisted by Oholiab. Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design ( he, בצלאל, אקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב) is a public college of design and art located in Jerusalem. Established in 1906 by Jewish painter and sculptor Boris Schatz, Bezalel is Israel's oldest institution of higher education and is considered the most prestigious art school in the country.
