Urban Eye
Urban Eye (formerly Westway Project) is a London-based charity that has been regenerating run-down parts of inner city London through the use of design, architectural lighting and public art since 1998. Projects aim to reduce fear of crime and anti-social behaviour and to create a more positive identity for urban zones for the benefit of both residents and visitors. Where possible, projects involve local people directly in the creative process, including partnerships with schools, resident groups youth projects and special needs authorities. The charity has formed partnerships with stakeholders ( Transport for London, Metronet, Highways Agency, Land Securities and Kensington Housing Trust), public and private organisations (BBC, BT Group), and local authorities (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster City Council, Suffolk County Council, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham) to tackle regeneration schemes in run-down sites in the city. Metronet (British Infrastructure Company)
Metronet Rail was one of two infrastructure companies (the other being Tube Lines, Tube Lines Ltd) in a public-private partnership (PPP) with London Underground. A consortium of private companies, Metronet was responsible for the maintenance, renewal, and upgrade of the infrastructure (track, trains, tunnels, signals, and stations) on nine London Underground lines from 2003 to 2008. Following financial difficulties, the company was placed in Administration (law), administration in July 2007. In May 2008, the company's responsibilities were transferred back into public ownership under the authority of Transport for London (TfL). Catalyst Housing is a housing association operating in London and the south-east of England. On 1 April 2022 Catalyst became a subsidiary of the Peabody Trust.
