Urartu Training Centre
Urartu Training Centre, is the training ground and academy base of the Armenian football club Urartu. It houses the club's main stadium, 3 additional full-size training pitches, mini football pitches as well as an indoor facility. The current technical director of the academy is the former Armenian footballer Rafael Nazaryan. History Urartu Training Centre was officially opened on 23 May 2003 on the grounds of the former Malatia Football School named after Eduard Grigoryan, located in the Malatia-Sebastia District of the capital Yerevan. The opening ceremony was attended by then-presidents of FIFA Sepp Blatter, then-president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, and then-president of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan. Ruben Rafiki Hayrapetyan ( hy, Ռուբեն Ռաֆիկի Հայրապետյան, born 9 March 1963 in Yerevan, Armenia), also known by his nickname Nemets Rubo (''Rubo The German''), is an Armenian football official, a former member of the Armenian Parliament and a businessman. Between 2002-2018, Hayrapetyan was the president of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA). He was elected to the Armenian Parliament twice, in 2003 and 2007. On 3 July 2012 he was forced to step down from Parliament, after the controversial death of an army doctor at a restaurant owned by him. Urartu Stadium
Urartu Stadium ( hy, Ուրարտու Մարզադաշտ) is an all-seater football stadium in the Malatia-Sebastia District of Yerevan, Armenia. The stadium is home to Urartu FC and has a capacity of 4,860 seats. It was known as Banants Stadium until 1 August 2019, when it was officially renamed Urartu Stadium. Overview Urartu Stadium is located within the sports complex of Urartu Training Centre, occupying the southern part of the complex. The construction of the stadium was launched in 2006 with the assistance of the FIFA Goal Programme. It was officially opened in 2008 with a capacity of 3,600 seats. The 2017 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying competition was a men's under-19 football competition that determined the seven teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Georgia in the 2017 UEFA European Under-19 Championship final tournament. A total of 53 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition. Players born on or after 1 January 1998 are eligible to participate. Fabio Capello
Fabio Capello (; born 18 June 1946) is an Italian former professional football manager and player. As a player, Capello represented SPAL 1907, Roma, Milan and Juventus. He played as a midfielder and won several trophies during his career which lasted over 15 years. He won the Coppa Italia with Roma in 1969, though he was most successful with Juventus, winning three Serie A titles in 1972, 1973 and 1975. With Milan, he won the Coppa Italia again in 1977 and also won another Serie A in 1979. Capello also played internationally for Italy during his career, amassing 32 caps and scoring 8 goals. Michel Platini
Michel François Platini (born 21 June 1955) is a French football administrator and former player and manager. Regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, Platini won the Ballon d'Or three times in a row, in 1983, 1984 and 1985, and came seventh in the FIFA Player of the Century vote.
