''Uppina Kagada'' () is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed by B. Suresha and starring T. S. Nagabharana and Apoorva Bharadwaj. Cast *T. S. Nagabharana as Aachaari, the father *Apoorva Bharadwaj as the daughter *Mandya Ramesh as Chinnayya Production The film was shot in Kudremukh for sixteen days. T. S. Nagabharana and newcomer Apoorva Bharadwaj were cast in the lead roles. The film is directed by B. Suresha. The film is based on two real stories in Afghanistan and Bagalkot. The film was produced by Saranya Nag, B. Suresha's wife who had previously produced his other directorial ventures. Release The film was screened at Bengaluru International Film Festival. ''Puttakkana Highway'' ( kn, ಪುಟ್ಟಕ್ಕನ ಹೈವೇ) is a 2011 Indian Kannada drama film starring Shruti and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. The film was directed by B. Suresha. Prakash Rai and Shylaja Nag jointly produced this venture under Duet Movies and Media House banner. Hamsalekha composed the music and H. M. Ramachandra was the cameraman. The Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) is a worldwide organization of 29 member countries. Shashidhar Adapa
Shashidhar Adapa (born 1 September 1955) is an Indian production designer, set designer and puppet designer, known predominantly for his work in Kannada cinema. In 1984, he formed Prathiroopi, a television, film, and stage set design company. In his career spanning over 30 years, Adapa has worked with theatre personalities such as B. V. Karanth, Shankar Nag, M. S. Sathyu, C. G. Krishnaswamy, B. Jayashree, Prakash Belawadi, and filmmakers T. S. Nagabharana, Girish Karnad, Girish Kasaravalli, T. N. Karnataka State Film Awards are the most notable and prestigious film awards given for Kannada film industry in Karnataka, India. These are considered the highest awards for Kannada language films. They are given annually by the Government of Karnataka to honor the best talent and to provide encouragement and incentive to the Kannada film industry.
