Upper Agno River Basin Resource Reserve
The Upper Agno River Basin Resource Reserve is a list of protected areas of the Philippines, protected area located on the southeast flank of the Cordillera Central (Luzon), Cordillera Central in the Philippine province of Benguet along its border with Ifugao and Nueva Vizcaya. It is a resource reserve located high in the Central and Polis ranges protecting the headwaters of the Agno River. According to section 4 of the National Integrated Protected Areas System Act (R.A. 7586), a resource reserve is an extensive and relatively isolated area designated as such to preserve the natural resources of the area. The reserve comprises of the catchment area that feeds the Ambuklao Dam, Ambuklao and Binga Dam, Binga dams, two of the country's oldest hydroelectric plants that supply power to the city of Baguio and entire Benguet province. Ambuklao Dam
Ambuklao Dam is part of a hydroelectric facility in Baragay Ambuclao, Bokod, Benguet province in the Philippines. With a maximum water storage capacity of , the facility, which is located from Baguio city, can produce up to 105 megawatts of electricity to the Luzon grid. The main source of water comes from the Agno River, which originates from Mount Data. The dam is located in a conservation area known as the Upper Agno River Basin Resource Reserve. The dam and other non-power components are owned by the government through the National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR). The name of the dam is also used as a metonym for National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) power lines and their associated poles and towers. Kabayan, officially the Municipality of Kabayan ( ilo, Ili ti Kabayan; tl, Bayan ng Kabayan), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Benguet, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 15,806 people. Kabayan is the site of centuries-old Ibaloi mummies buried inside caves scattered around its villages. Mount Pulag
Mount Pulag ( fil, Bundok Pulag; ilo, Bantay Pulag) is Luzon's highest peak at above sea level, third-highest mountain in the Philippines, and the 26th-highest peak of an island on Earth. Mount Data
Mount Data is a mountain located in the Cordillera Central mountain range rising to a height of in the north of Luzon Island, Philippines. It is about north of Baguio on the borders of the provinces of Benguet and Mountain Province along the Halsema Highway. The mountain and surrounding area has been declared a national park since 1936.
