''Unnai Vaazhthi Paadukiren'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by Shridev. The film stars Parthiban, Suman Ranganathan and Mohini. The film, produced by T. P. Kovai Thampi, had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 7 February 1992. Plot Ravi (Parthiban), a poor mechanic who works in the garage of and lives with his mother. He is deeply in love with Priya (Suman Ranganathan), a rich girl. Priya hates him and flashback reveals that Ravi and Priya are married and had marital breakdown because he lied to her that his mother is dead. Priya stays with her parents who resent that she is staying with them instead of taking responsibility of her love marriage. In the meantime, Asha (Mohini), another rich girl, falls in love with Ravi and she proposes to him. Kovaithambi (born 28 November 1940) is an Indian film producer and politician who was active primarily in the 1980s, in Tamil cinema. Early life Kovaithambi was born on 28 November 1940 to Perumal Udayar and Sunthayi Ammal, a farming couple belonging to the Udayar (caste), Udayar caste. He did his schooling at the R. S. Puram Corporation Boys Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore. During that period, he was fascinated by the speeches of politicians such as M. G. Ramachandran, C. N. Annadurai, M. Karunanidhi, E. V. K. Gangai Amaran is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, writer, film director and actor in Tamil films. Personal life Gangai Amaran was born in Pannaipuram in Theni district, Tamil Nadu in December 1947, as the youngest son of Daniel Ramaswamy and Chinnathayi. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child.
